Mis Aventuras: Fall 2010 + Summer 2011

Hey everyone! I created this blog originally so that my friends could keep up with me while I was off having adventures in Spain for a semester! I studied abroad in Valencia through Florida State University. But now a new adventure is ahead of me!! I am going to be working as an au pair (basically that's a fancy name for a live-in nanny who is a foreigner) for a family who lives in Pobla de Farnals, about 10 km away from Valencia. I'll be there from June 3rd-August 13th.

In exactly one month I will be in Valencia!

AH! That's so crazy! I went ahead and made my blog because I know it's something I want to have so everyone can know what I'm up to. At home I write in a journal everyday, so the only difference is this will be public haha. I'm not looking forward to packing everything I need for a little more than 3 months in just a couple suitcases, but it'll be worth it once I've finally made it to Spain. Now I'll just be enjoying my last month of summer working at Barnes and Noble, visiting friends, enjoying my family, and laying by the pool!
